This is my lotus vine henna tattoo I got at an Arabian nights event hosted by the Muslim Community Club at my university. The hosts and hostesses were very nice and the music was awesome! I even got a bag of goodies and a CD for winning a dance contest they had :D I’ve been meaning to join one of their club meetings and ask them questions about Islam in general because I’m taking a philosophy class about it. I think the religion is fascinating! One of my friends practiced being Muslim for 5 days because her roommate, who is a Muslim, suggested it since she was asking so many questions! She said it gave her a different outlook on life and got to learn the basics of what it is to be a Muslim. She got up at 5 am every morning, said her 5 prayers everyday, and even wore the hijab! I might want to try that too :)
